Q: What does it cost me to get started?
A: Nothing. Our fees are performance based and come from actual rent
collected from a tenant. There are no up front fees.

Q: Are you licensed?
A: Yes. ProHome realty is a licensed with the NC Real Estate Commission
and the agents with ProHome realty are all licenses NC Real Estate Brokers.

Q: Can I reach you after hours?
A: We have an after hours emergency paging system if you have an urgent matter.

Q: Can you put the money directly into my account?
A: Yes, we pay by EFT (Electronic Fund Transfer) that goes directly into your bank account

Q: When do I receive my monthly deposit?
A: We deposit by EFT (Electronic Fund Transfer) on the 15th of the month
or first business day thereafter. The EFT can take up to 2 business days
to show up in your account. If you prefer to receive a check, we mail
checks on the 15th or first business day thereafter.

Q: Do I get to see the lease or sign it?
A: We will provide you a copy of the lease in your owner portal.
There is no need for you to sign the lease, we will sign as your agent.

Q: Do you sell real estate too?
A: Yes, we are a full brokerage firm and can assist you in buying or selling.

Q: How is rent collection handled?
A: Tenants are encouraged to pay online through their tenant portal.
Rent is due on the 1st and considered late after the 5th.

Q: How long of a lease do you sign?
A: We typically offer 12 month leases. However, we can offer different
lengths depending on the owners situation or request. We may asl suggest
a different length else if it is to your advantage.

Q: How much security deposit do you charge the tenant?
A: The typical security deposit is an amount equal to one month’s rent.
However, in a credit risk situation we can ask for a security deposit
equal to as much as 2 months rent.

Q: How soon can you start managing my property?
A: We can typically start management within a day of receiving
the management contract.

Q: What type of properties do you manage?
A: We manage residential houses, townhomes, condos & apartments.

Q: What type of reports do I get and how often?
A: Our owner portal has over 20 different reports to choose from and you can access them at anytime.

Q: Who holds the tenant security deposit?
A: We hold the tenant security deposits in an Escrow account has required by NC Law.
