A: No. We need an approved application, security deposit and signed
lease to take a property off the market.

A: The security deposit is typically equal to one month’s rent.
In certain credit risk situations we may ask for a security deposit
equal to two month’s rent.

A: 18.

A: Security deposits are fully refundable per NC Law.

Q: Who needs a cosigner?
A: We will typically only allow a co-signer in a student situation
when co-signer is supporting student.

Q: You have a property I want to rent. How do I apply?
A: Fill out our application online and pay application fee on this website.

Q: How do I pay rent?
A: You can pay rent through your resident portal or you can mail us a check.

Q: I want to get a pet. What do I do?
A: Pets are negotiable depending no what kind and how many.
Please contact us before you get a pet.

Q: I want to move out, but my roommate wants to stay. What do I do?
A: Submit a notice and have roommate also send note confirming they plan to stay.
The security deposit will stay with the property so you will need to work it out with the roommate.

Q: Who is responsible for paying for repairs & maintenance requests?
A: The landlord typically pays all repairs unless damage was caused by resident.
General maintenance items such as cleaning, changing air filters and light
bulbs are resident responsibility.

Q: My lease expiration is coming and I want to move out. What do I do?
A: Send us a written notice a minimum of 30 days prior to the expiration of your lease.
You can email or mail it. just make sure you get confirmation that it has been received.

Q: Is my security deposit applied to the last month’s rent?
A: No, the security deposit is held until after you vacate for potential
damages. The last month’s rent should be paid on the normal due date.

Q: When will my security deposit be returned?
A: The security deposit will be accounted for within 30 days of your official vacate date.
If there are any pending charges, NC Law allows up to 60 days for the refund/accounting
of the security deposit.

A non-refundable pet fee is required.
